What raw hair actually means

Raw hair is cut from a single donor with the cuticles intact and aligned in one direction. It has not been acid washed, steam processed or coated to force a uniform texture. That is why it holds a curl set, takes colour predictably and lasts through repeated installs rather than months.

It is also why no two bundles look identical. Colour runs across natural dark shades and texture varies slightly from donor to donor. Processed hair is consistent because it has been treated until it is. Ours is not, and that trade is the point.

Caring for it

Detangle from the ends upwards before washing. Use a sulfate free shampoo, condition every wash and air dry where you can. Heat is fine occasionally with a protectant. Our Hair Extensions Guide covers detangling, washing, heat styling and storage in full.
