At GDR Beauty, your safety matters. Many of our products are applied directly to the skin, hair or body, so please read the product information and ingredients carefully before use.
Patch testing
We recommend patch testing new beauty, skincare and haircare products before full use where appropriate, following the instructions supplied with the product.
A patch test can help identify potential sensitivity, but it cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.
Allergies and sensitivities
If you have known allergies or sensitivities, review the ingredients of a product carefully before buying or using it.
Do not use a product if you know you are allergic to one of its ingredients. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
If you experience a reaction
Stop using the product immediately if you experience an unusual reaction. If symptoms are severe, worsening or persistent, seek medical attention.
You can then contact us at info@gdrbeauty.com. Where appropriate, we may ask for:
- Your order number
- The product name
- A description of the reaction
- Photographs
- Details of how the product was used
Cosmetics and skincare
Cosmetic and skincare products should only be used as directed. Do not use a product beyond its recommended use or in a way the manufacturer has not stated.
Keep products away from children unless the product is specifically intended for them.
Haircare products
Always follow the instructions provided with haircare products. Some products contain ingredients that can cause sensitivity or irritation. Carry out a patch test where recommended and stop using the product if irritation occurs.
Wigs and hair extensions
Inspect wigs and hair extensions before use. For wigs and extensions:
- Do not use damaged products
- Follow the care instructions supplied with the product
- Take care when using heat, and check first whether the product is heat-safe
- Check whether colouring or chemical treatment is suitable before attempting it
- Keep the product away from excessive heat and moisture
- Store it appropriately when not in use
