Getting the right wig size makes a real difference to comfort, security and how your wig looks.
Before ordering, measure your head and compare your measurements with the sizing information on the individual product page.
What you will need
A soft measuring tape. If you do not have one, use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler afterwards.
How to measure your head
1. Circumference
- Place the tape around your head, starting at the centre of your forehead.
- Follow your hairline around the sides of your head, behind your ears and around the widest part of the back of your head.
- Bring the tape back to the starting point.
- Keep the tape comfortable rather than tight, and record the measurement.
2. Front to nape
Measure from the centre of your front hairline, over the top of your head, to the centre of your hairline at the back of your neck.
3. Ear to ear
Measure from one ear, across the top of your head, to the other ear.
Choosing your size
Wig sizing varies between manufacturers and between individual products, so always use the sizing information on the specific product page. If your measurements fall between sizes, check the product adjustment options before ordering.

- Use a soft measuring tape.
- Keep the tape comfortable rather than tight.
- Measure your natural head rather than over a bulky hairstyle.
- Take each measurement more than once.
- Write your measurements down before ordering.
Quick measurement checklist
- Circumference: around the widest part of your head.
- Front to nape: front hairline to back hairline.
- Ear to ear: ear, across the top of the head, to the opposite ear.
